Hi There

Maddie Campion is a comedy writer/performer based in the UK. She has appeared in the BAFTA-winning Canadian show The Next Step, performed stand-up across multiple UK festivals, and is the world leading fashion guru (follow her on Instagram.)

In 2022 a pilot script of Campion's was one of 25 scripts long-listed for the Funny Women Writing Award (sponsored by Sky Studios.) She is currently developing a lifestyle-comedy podcast, and is writing a 30 minute rom-com TV series inspired by true events.

You can see her performing 'Mads Mads Mads', a WIP show at the 2022 Edinburgh Festival Fringe at Banshee Labyrinth, 7:20pm 6th-15th August, as part of PBH's Free Fringe.

Praise

"10 up-and-coming stand-ups to see at the Fringe" The National Student, 2019.

The sketchy, multi-media 2018 Edfringe show "20 Uses for Lovedoll", which was developed through the Soho Theatre SYC Edinburgh Lab, was described as a show "like no other" (Daily Info) and given ✭✭✭✭ by Funny Women who said Maddie was a "very inventive and dry writer", but most importantly, her parents liked it.  It was not a sex show, despite what many, many people assumed. She is more cautious about what I call my shows in the future.
