Hello and welcome along
Well hello there, hot dog!
I'm Maddie, a stand-up comedian, writer, performer and sometimes cartoonist. Though I will always cartoon if you pay me to.
If you want to meet me in person I have gig dates listed in the 'gigs' section of this site. I host a monthly night at Camden Comedy Club where you can find me with a wonderful bill of comedians!
This year I performed a 45 minute stand-up show on the prestigious Gilded Balloon for the Edinburgh Fringe. I will be taking my first hour "Mad Money" up in 2020, where it's already booked for VAULT, Leicester Comedy Festival, and Brighton Fringe.
I did a sketchy, multi-media 2018 Edfringe show "20 Uses for Lovedoll", which was developed through the Soho Theatre SYC Edinburgh Lab. It was described as a show "like no other" (Daily Info) and given ✭✭✭✭ by Funny Women who said I was a "very inventive and dry writer", but most importantly, my parents liked it. It was not a sex show, despite what many, many people assumed. I am more cautious about what I call my shows in the future.
I have appeared as a comedy performer on everyone's favourite Canadian dance show The Next Step, in a viral campaign for Asda, and in a sketch with RJ Mitte on Comedy Central online.
My main ambition is to meet sexy people and own two alpacas.
