I'm Maddie, a stand-up comedian, writer, and performer. Dolly Parton once said hello to me and I know that's not relevant right now but if I'm not going to put it in the about me of my website, where else would I put it?
If you want to meet me irl I have gig dates listed in the 'gigs' section of this site. I will be hosting my monthly night again when the pandemic ends.
Check out my podcast "The Jacqueline Wilson Fan Club" where guests revisit the celebrated children/YA books and have a nostalgic chat. Why not download it and play it out loud from a boombox wherever you go?
My main ambition is to be the recipient of a fortune on Heir Hunters and own two alpacas.

I did a sketchy, multi-media 2018 Edfringe show "20 Uses for Lovedoll", which was developed through the Soho Theatre SYC Edinburgh Lab. It was described as a show "like no other" (Daily Info) and given ✭✭✭✭ by Funny Women who said I was a "very inventive and dry writer", but most importantly, my parents liked it. It was not a sex show, despite what many, many people assumed. I am more cautious about what I call my shows in the future.
